Delta Region SCCA would like to host a SoloPro Extreme 2-day course on June 18/19th. Cost of the school is $500 per student for both days. If you are interested, please contact Darren Darby (RE@delta-scca.org) by Friday, May 20, 2011 to reserve a spot. Payment is not required by Friday.

Delta Region SCCA has sponsored the Zephyrs baseball game on Thursday, May 5, 2011 against the Memphis Redbirds. We have 50 tickets to give away to our members for this night’s game. If you would like free tickets, please contact Bruce Keller at 504-491-4125 or brucekeller@charter.net. This is a first come, first served with no more tickets available after the initial 50 are gone. The event is also on Thirsty Thursday with $1 sodas, $1 draft beer and $2 cans of beer all night long. Come on out and join your fellow Delta members for a night of baseball.
We will offer any un-used tickets to non-Delta members the first week in May. Stay tuned here for updates.

As stated before, due to scheduling conflicts, we were unable to secure Zephyrs for a June event. We are hoping to make that up with our July Mega-Event:
Coming July 10th and 11th to Zephyr Field, Delta will be hosting an entire weekend of autocross and drift.
Saturday the 11th will feature autocross in the morning and afternoon and then an open drift event beginning around 3pm.
Sunday the 12th will be a normal autocross.
More details for the races are below.Drivers will see a brand new course on both Saturday and Sunday. Weekend series trophies will be awarded for those competing both days.
