Volunteers Needed for Charity Race

Delta Region has again agreed to bring volunteers to help with grid at the
Charity Race. We will need:

2 volunteers on Friday, April 16th
5 volunteers on Saturday, April 17th
5 volunteers on Sunday, April 18th.

Volunteers need to be at the track no later than 7:30AM each day to get work
assignments.

Friday Worker Positions:
1. Grid Chief - in touch with race control over CGB radio
2. Grid Workers (1) - spotting cars on grid, checking for seat belts,
helmets etc. - in contact with grid chief.

Saturday & Sunday Worker Positions:
1. Grid Chief - in touch with race control over CGB radio
2. Grid Workers (2) - spotting cars on grid, checking for seat belts,
helmets etc. - in contact with grid chief.
3. Black Flag (report to) station - in hot pit - in contact with grid chief
4. Pit In - whistle or warning to paddock when cars are exiting the track

Delta SCCA will provide radios for grid communication.

Volunteers will get free track entry each day ($10 value), free Lunch and
Dinner, and a free T-Shirt.

If you are interested in getting up close and personal with the racers and
give your time to a good cause, please email charityrace@delta-scca.org with
your name and T-shirt size, and when you can work. We will get your name on
the volunteer list to get in.
