Preliminary Results: Class, Raw, PAX, and Virtual
The event went fairly smoothly, despite being tough logistically. Darren and Justin loaded up a truck on Saturday with equipment from the Delta trailer in Metairie. Timing and Scoring set up well, but I forgot to add a laser printer to my fetch-list. A quick trip to Walmart to nab a $30 printer (hey, I needed an extra one anyway) and we were good to go. It didn’t rain despite being heavily overcast, but the previous day’s rain wouldn’t dry out and led to a challenging low-traction surface.
Congratulations to Jack Heaton for an absolutely amazing performance in Ian’s STI, and Jack earned himself a Gift Certificate from Tinman’s Powdercoating in Ocean Springs. Jack took FTD and Top PAX. Jeff Wetzel also earned himself a Gift Certificate.
Eric Trigg nabbed a free consult with Top Dead Center, a dyno tuning shop in Mobile, AL.
Thanks to everyone who made it a fun day. We wrapped up 6 runs before 3pm. Special thanks to Gulf Island Waterpark for proving a place for us to play.
